We lay before our Readers the following extracts from the latest official returns of population ordered to be printed by the House of Commons, July 12, 1815.

Governor Baines, of Dominica, reports, that on the 19th of February, 1811, there were on the Island

Governor Bentinick, of Demerara, states the population of this Island to be -

In the Island of New Providence, one of the Bahama Islands, the population was, December 13, 1810 -
